Recently, Sacai has been collaborating with NikeLab to create some noteworthy Nike slip-on sneakers.
Together, the modus operandi seems to take a classic Nike silhouette and remove the laces, giving the sneaker a sleek, attention-grabbing look. While coming up with a completely new slip-on Nike may have been most designers' first instinct, Sacai has instead something much more visually fascinating. Most people are familiar with the iconic sneaker models Sacai is playing off of, so there's something arresting and almost jarring to see them with such a notable feature missing.
Sacai's slip-on Nike collection has previously produced an Air Max 90 model. This latest release is Sacai's laceless take on the classic Dunk Lux. It will be available in gray/white, black/gray, navy/white and navy/yellow colorways.
