Vasiliy Butenko's Slice Glass Has a Sculptural Appeal

Drinking liquor and spirits can be an art form all on its own, therefore it is only appropriate that the decanters that hold these alcoholic beverages would be just as artistic -- enter the Slice Glass. The Slice Glass boasts deceptively simple form, especially when empty; however, when filled, it takes on a sculptural aesthetic that is far more pleasing to the eye than any other traditional carafe.

Created by Ukraine-based product designer Vasiliy Butenko, the Slice Glass makes the liquid inside appear as though it were constantly falling. This sense of movement gives the unusual distribution of content a dynamic look that creates an event out of everyday drinking. The Slice Glass also has a stunning surreal presence.
