Sensory Sleep Devices

This Bedside Device Helps Slow Your Heart Rate for a Solid Night's Rest

British inventor Richard Mills has created an innovative new bedside sleep device designed to bring down a user's heart rate to 50 beats per minute.

The 'SleepCogni' uses a series of different lights, sounds and vibrations to help relax users who have difficulty sleeping. The sleep device system consists of an overhead frame with a thin adjustable armed connected to a small base with a USB port for charging. A handheld trigger records a user's heart rate, temperature and condition to send cues to the device on devising a strategy to help them wind down.

The overhead frame emits different patterns of light and color, while the base of the unit emits an audio experience of different pitches and tones to bring down your heart rate. Once you fall asleep, the adjustable arm automatically retracts up and out of the way as you blissfully drift away for the night.
