The Sleeed Chairs Feature a Flexible Form

Seoul-based Centimeter Studio designed the 'Sleeed Chair,' a set of polyproylene chairs that fit together seamlessly to maximize space-efficiency. The base, which is designed to mimic a sledge, allows the chairs to slide along the floor, collapsing into each other without needing to be lifted. This design makes the chairs incredibly useful for auditoriums and conference centers that need to accommodate large groups.

Designer Minsoo Vince Choi notes that functionality is equally as important to him as aesthetics, and he wished to create a product with high performance for the user. The chair's backrest curves towards the front legs, which are diagonal in shape and have bending capabilities.

Finally, the chairs are injection-molded to form a single piece, minimizing waste.
