Right now holding a small computer in our hands -- smartphones -- seems like we're already in the future, but imagine what if there was such a thing a skin electronics. By that, it refers to paper-thin material that rests on the skin to turn that surface into a screen. No more dropping phones in the future -- at least a future depicted by researchers from the University of Tokyo.
Although still very much in the prototype stages, the skin electronics is promising. Meant to work with inorganic devices, the skin electronics will simply ensure a more natural way of interacting with such technology. They work with the help of polymer light-emitting diodes (PLEDs) and quantum-dot light-emitting diodes (QLEDs).
