Design inventions are always good fun to keep up with. These unusual bike designs caught my eye at Designboom. How amazing must it be to bike down the slope on a snowy mountain top on a ski-bike, for instance?
Or what about a four-seater ‘dog sledge’ bike? Now there is a robust design for the whole family.
My favorite strange bike in this catalog, however, is the summer’s day couch-bike. The people in this picture look so wonderfully happy while unifying activity with recreation. I guess you can only applaud initiatives that serve to activate the public. So long, couch potatoes!
