Pedestrians might wonder why this building has clothing instead of bricks covering its facade, but it's all part of a project called 'Shwopping' by Marks & Spencer.

The project is run by British department store Marks & Spencer, which is making an effort to help end poverty by encouraging customers to donate clothing. The term is to 'Shwop' and have customers swap their unused clothes in exchange for vouchers that can be used towards buying new clothes.

Marks & Spencer took up the challenge to canvas an old brewery warehouse with unused garments that has been donated by the community. It stands to encourage customers to bring in their old clothes to donate to charity. Over 1,000 'shwop' donation stands were set up around the UK to gather unused clothes to be given to Oxfam that will sell to folks in need.
