Traer Scott, a photographer who started volunteering with a animal shelter, was entrusted with the task to take snapshots of dogs for internet adoption sites. Knowing that not all dogs leave the shelter, she wanted to memorialize these ill-fated canines and thus started her Shelter Dogs photography series and book.
