It would be one thing to stick to the tried and true feminine fashion photography stand-by of sultry gazes and seductive poses, but this assortment of Shai Yehezkel photos explores a slightly more adventurous and cinematically inclined approach.
From soldiers stranded in the midst of an explosive battlefield to an upper-class lady in a barren desert next to abandond ship carcasses, this collection explores an altogether more complex thematic atmosphere than might normally be expected from a fashion photographer. Needless to say, this isn't a bad thing.
Given the sheer volume of photograph collections released each year (each week, even), it's refreshing to see something different every once in a while. Here's to hoping Shai Yehezkel keeps up his quest to continue exploring new frontiers for an otherwise saturated and constantly retread market.
