Glamorizing Famous Pets

American Jungle Photos Showcase Stars and Their Animals

These intriguing portraits featuring famous people like Hugh Hefner, Dolly Parton and Alice Cooper are the work of London based artist Alice Hawkins, a young photographer who has a sharp eye for capturing real life glamour.

Hawkins has transgressed fashion photography and moved into an artistic expression through portraying often exotic lifestyles of celebrities, glamour models and the like.

You cannot help being fascinated by these striking shots of celebrities and their pets.

The whole thing looks very staged to me, but then again, I might just be hundreds of miles from their lifestyle, which makes them so intriguing to look at.

I can’t wait to see these photographs in real life. They will be exhibited under the title of ‘The Good, The Bad, The Belle’ at the Spring Projects, a newly opened London gallery from the Feb. 27th - April 5th.
