Sensitive Touch is an Eye-Catching Artificial Limb Enhancer

Sensitive Touch is a full-arm glove designed for those who wear prosthetic limbs. The glove is meant to give prosthetic wearers the sensation of touch and pressure using electricity. Sensitive Touch was designed by Daniel Kamp for the startup Footfalls & Heartbeats.

The glove works using a consistent stream of electrical currents that flow through the fingers and the palm. When the wearer touches or grabs for something, the glove sends a signal up to a receiver attached to what is left of the wearer's arm. The receiver lets off a small pulse equal to the amount of pressure put on the hand. Making things easier for prosthesis wearers is great, but the true beauty of the Sensitive Touch is that it's actually stylish and eye-catching for all of the right reasons.
