Clashing Couture Catwalks

The Selim de Somavilla Fall/Winter 2012 Line Offers Diverse Style

Recently the latest offering from the Selim de Somavilla Fall/Winter 2012 collection was presented on the catwalks of Valencia Fashion Week and it was one of the most diverse collections that has been shown this year. The line included many striped pieces, nature-inspired patterns, fur garments and some one-of-a-kind, handmade spiked shoes.

Although there was so much to take in from this showing, the collection was also unified in its use of color, avant-garde tailoring and body-cropping clothing cuts. My favorite look in the range was a metallic-gold overcoat styled with a monochromatic, floral-print button-up shirt that also had hints of gold in it. So if you’re looking for a collection that is daringly flamboyant and offers the ultimate in luxury and excess, then the Selim de Somavilla Fall/Winter 2012 line is for you.
