Autonomous Planters

This Self-Watering Planter is Perfect for Forgetful Users

Argentinian designer Mariel Andrea Volpe has conceived of a self-watering planter called the Puro.

The Puro works by using discarded batteries with low-voltage power to detect moisture levels in the soil of the plant. When the moisture levels are low, the planter will water itself from a little reservoir that the user fills routinely. Pet owners be aware: cats or dogs might be inclined to lap up the water, so make sure to keep it out of their reach!

Plants are popular choices for home decorating, but individuals are increasingly forgetful or too strapped for time to care for them properly. The Puro self-water planter ensures that plants will never perish at the hands of negligence ever again!
