To gamers of a certain vintage, the Sega Mega Drive Classic remains a gaming console that is indelibly linked with the gaming phenomenon that is Sonic the Hedgehog.
In order to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sega is releasing a new version of this classic gaming console, which includes both a home console as well as a portable handheld console. Both of these systems are more than capable of containing 80 pre-installed games. The product differs from its 1990s predecessors in that it doesn't offer support for cartridges for obvious reasons, but instead includes SD card slot functionality.
This reissue of the famous Sega Mega Drive Classic console and handheld device will appeal to older gamers who remember the joy of what is now considered old-school gaming.
