Secretly Canadian Launches a New Vans Sk8-Hi Sneaker Model

Anaheim-based skateboarding imprint Vans works together with record label Secretly Canadian to work towards a philanthropic project. Together, the duo joins forces to aid homelessness in Bloomington, Indiana, which is the music imprint's hometown.

The result is a special design of the Vans Sk8-Hi sneaker model that is made to raise awareness and proceeds. The sneakers are based on a white foundation and detailed with blue accents in the form of the sun and moon that nods to the lyrics from Jason Molina's song Farewell Transmission. The back of the left sneaker is detailed with "Every Light On This" and the right reads "Side of Town" which is a reference to the opening verse of the song.
