Founded by Franckie Harrell, The Secret Society of Ex-Mermaids, is a brand that prioritizes the need for connection between "amazing, rare and misunderstood ex-mermaids."
The world no longer has to be a lonely place for these former ladies of the sea; they can now connect with their mer-sisters in an underground fashion community intended to honor and celebrate their mystic qualities. As a self-identified ex-mermaid and current water sign, I am partial to the simple, cotton 'Welcome to the Secret Society' tee, but the label offers a variety of merchandise from beanies to temporary hook tattoos.
Being a Parson's School of Design graduate, Harrell brings a lot to the table. Her extensive resume includes working for designers such as Michael Kors, Rebecca Taylor and Lela Rose.
