The 'Seat' Art Installation Encourages People to Think Differently

The 'Seat' art installation is a massive wave-like sculpture composed of wooden chairs. The installation uses 400 wooden chairs that are seamlessly attached using hidden brackets. The intriguing piece is located in Freedom Park, Atlanta.

New York Design house E/B Office created the work and says that it is meant to encourage people to think of chairs and sitting from a different perspective. Normally, we sit while we view things, but when viewing Seat, people are treating the chair as a piece of architecture instead. Seeing art in everything is a wonderful benefit of public art projects.

Though no one can be sure whether viewers are able to climb on it or not, Seat would make a superb place to hang out and have a picnic among floating chairs and friends.
