Flexible Parasol Handles

The Search Umbrella Stays in Sight at All Times

The umbrella is perhaps the easiest item to lose on an everyday basis and the Search Umbrella has pinpointed one of the main possibilities why that is the case. The typical parasol adheres to a strict shape that is easily tucked into corners or under chairs only to be forgotten the next minute. The Search Umbrella boasts a malleable handle that ensures it stays in sight at all times.

Designed by Liang-Hock Poh and Ming-Hung Lin, the Search Umbrella can be wrapped around bags, hung off of tables and more. Thanks to its flexible handle, people are able to place it wherever they feel when not using it. The Search Umbrella's handle is made from flexible metal encased in skid-proof rubber. It is a 2013 Red Dot Award: Design Concept winner.
