It’s been a week since Schoolboy Q released his new highly anticipated album named Oxymoron. The album features other prominent artists including Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock and Raekwon. Alife gives a unique perspective into the west coast rapper Schoolboy Q by bringing him to the east coast in New York to do a backyard concert and an interview.
In the interview Schoolboy Q talks about who he is, how he likes to portray himself and where he draws some of his influence from. Although Schoolboy Q grew up on the west coast he is a walking oxymoron which is why his album is so appropriately titled. He is also speaks on how having other interests, like sports for instance, brought some balance to his life.
