Be Good This Year, or Santa Claus Cthulhu Will Pay You a Visit

Artist Amy Rawson and Brian East have unveiled their fifth Santa Claus Cthulu as part of their "not-quite-annual needle felted Santa Cthulhu extravaganza."

Amy and Brian’s 2013 version of their Santa Claus Cthulhu rides his "Octi-Sleigh" that is pulled by a Shoggoth (an amoeba-like monster) and carry’s his bag full horrific gifts that include tentacles and crab parts. The Santa Claus Cthulhu is made entirely from wool and Amy and Brian have been working on the whole thing since mid-October; Cthulhu and Shoggoth even glow in the dark.

Cthulhu and Shoggoth are monsters based on the Cthulhu Mythos of books written by celebrated horror author H.P. Lovecraft. Cthulhu is considered to be an evil cosmic entity, so tell your kids to be good this year or else they’ll get a visit from Santa Claus Cthulhu.
