The Sankalp Forum Works with Investors to Build Business

Launched in 2009, the Sankalp Forum is a project led by Intellecap, an international social advisory firm and "think and do" tank. Director and co-founder of Sankalp, Aparajita Agarwal, told the India Times in and interview that she wanted to change the way social innovation worked and was conceived of in India. "It took us four years of rigorous work at Intellecap with investors, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, development agencies and government agencies, to identify the critical gap that existed between capital providers (funders) and capital seekers (enterprises)," she says.

As such, Sankalp Forum's network is wide and it currently organizes an annual summit in Mumbai that brings together over 1000 people from around the world.
