Tech-Powered Haunted Houses

Samsung Transformed a 300-Year-Old House with SmartThings Technology

Thanks to SmartThings technology, a 300-year-old house was transformed into a Samsung haunted house to share a spooky experience for Halloween. The Halloween House is a fun and interactive showcase of SmartThings technology that uses lights, music, sound effects and integrates the SmartThings app.

The house in Hertfordshire was made over with many of the elements of a classic haunted house but updated with a tech-fueled twist thanks to projection mapping, animatronic skeletons lit-up pumpkins and more.

Online, Samsung created a series of classes so that people can recreate the effects of the SmartThings Haunted House using the same technology. At its London flagship, Samsung is also offering a taste of the Halloween experience with an augmented reality treasure hunt.
