Not one to be outdone by Apple, Korean electronics company Samsung has announced the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Round. The new smartphone will initially be available only in South Korea and is notable for its curvy design. The phone's curved screen and body are a first and lend the phone its unique name. Aside from making the phone look different, the curves also have functions.
You can "roll" the phone from side to side to check your notifications and tapping the left and right sides of the phone gives you a new way to control your music. Perhaps the best thing about the new Samsung Galaxy Round is that it packs hardware specs identical to the new Galaxy Note 3, but it comes in at less than half the size. The Galaxy Round could very well see a U.S. release if it becomes a huge hit in South Korea.
