Salvo Health is an Online Clinic for Those with GI Problems

Salvo Health, a health tech startup specializing in gut health problems, officially launched with $10.5 million in seed funding, which was led by Threshold Ventures.

The funding will go towards further developing Salvo Health's virtual clinic, which assists those experiencing chronic GI problems, such as celiac disease, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), and dyspepsia. The clinic provides patients with access to physicians and health coaches who can create custom plans to help them manage their diets, sleep, and stress.

"The conventional medical system often underserves chronic GI conditions, so we assembled top minds to provide comprehensive and accessible care through an easy-to-use, app-based approach," said CEO and co-founder Jeff Glueck.
