Scary Vegetarian Campaigns

The Salade Verte Restaurant Ads Show the Bad Side of Meat

It is always important to know your options, so the Salade Verte Restaurant ad campaign educates its viewers. As though adopting a political campaign model, these print ads smear the opposing team (which, in this case, happens to be meat). According to Salade Verte Restaurant, meat is the bad guy. It's "always back to bother you," as one tag line puts it.

Conceived by Brazil-based ad agency Danza, the Salade Verte Restaurant ad campaign dresses up a pig, chicken and cow as iconic horror villains such as Freddy Krueger from Nightmare on Elm Street and Ghostface from Scream. With illustrations done by Lucas Santiago, there is a definitely pop culture feel to these ads that will surely appeal to healthy hipsters.
