Deceiving Dessert Cafes

Vegedeco Salad Cafe will Offer Patrons Salad Cakes instead of Sweets

Despite the offerings from Vegedeco Salad Cafe looking as sweet as can be, the offerings seen above are actually healthy salad cakes made from root veggies and peels.

Set to open on April 5th in Japan, the Vegedeco Salad Cafe is the brainchild of Mitsuki Moriyasu who created the concept of cakes made of veggies in 2015. The interesting eats were available at Bistro La Porte Marseille in Nagoya, but have now been given their own spot to be enjoyed.

The Vegedeco Salad Cafe will offer salad cakes that are healthier than the looks would have you believe with zero gluten or high-calories ingredients in sight. The cakes will sell by the piece and are certain to become a tourist destination for visitors to the region.
