Northern S.T.A.R.S Safety Village Teaches Children Emergency Strategies

Designed by assemblageSTUDIO, the Northern Northern S.T.A.R.S. Safety Village is an institution that teaches kids how to respond to emergency situations.

The Northern Northern S.T.A.R.S. Safety Village is designed to act as a "town" for children and includes an educational facility and a safety village. The educational facility combines classrooms and interactive areas, such as a kitchen, and is used to teach the students valuable safety skills, such as how to live sustainably in the desert and how to escape safely from one’s bedroom during a fire. The safety village, which is designed with real-looking streets and traffic signals, is where students can practice their newly acquired safety skills. This may include pool safety and how to operate a motorized vehicle.

An innovative project, the Northern Northern S.T.A.R.S. Safety Village’s mission is to eradicate accidents and injuries that can be prevented in among today’s children and future adults.
