Residential Houses of Worship

Ruud Visser Architects Turn a Church into a Home Fit for Four

Ruud Visser Architects has literally designed a house of worship that can fit a family of four. The converted church home is located in Rotterdam, Netherlands and features a modern redesign while still clinging to its religious charms.

What I like best about Ruud Visser Architects design is that it features all the modern amenities one would expect from a new home while still holding onto its old churchy feel. The high arching roofs and triangular frame are kept intact, as are some of the original windows. Check it out above and be sure to click below to see more great church creations.
