Studio David Thulstrup was tasked by Copenhagen-based restaurant Noma to create a welcoming interior with rustic custom furniture. In its quest to satisfy the wishes of its client, the design firm created a collection of furniture pieces that seamlessly fuse traditional craftsmanship with contemporary connotations. For this project, Studio David Thulstrup worked alongside local manufacturing company Brdr Krüger.
In regard to the rustic custom furniture, the partnership produced a worthwhile and homey ambiance. From the Arv chair that boasts "a hand-woven cord seat" and an oak frame to the complementary Arv table that comes in both round and square formats, the Brdr Krüger x Studio David Thulstrup collaboration definitely elevates Noma's interior to a true testimony of Danish craftsmanship.
