Known for his bold point of view, the designer presented a collection he called "Pura Piel" on the New York Fashion Week stage and blended together fur, leather and suede materials to create textural harmony.
Looking to gladiator garb for his inspiration, the designer presented his fans with a range of eccentric and unexpected pieces. The styles were striking and wearable despite of their conceptual themes and shapes. Though leather is not the most breezy of summer materials, this runway collection proves that fashion often wins out against practicality.
