Under Armour's Run to Vote Initiative Helped Increase Voter Turnout

Under Armour recently launched its 'Run To Vote' initiative leading up to this year's US presidential election in an effort to help increase voter turnout while reminding consumers how impactful their voice is.

The program is the first of its kind for the sportswear brand who aimed to "make voting less of a struggle for their US employees and the communities in which they live" by giving "teammates nationwide three hours of paid time off to vote in person or by mail." In addition to this gesture, Under Armour also launched a microsite in partnership with Vote.org where both employees and the public had access to important information.

Lastly, the brand went one step further to join forces with community organization in an effort to raise voter turnout and awareness by hosting events like an October running challenge that featured an 11.3 mile distance, marking the November 3rd date of this year's election.
