Rudy-Jan Faber Renders Fierce Female Prints

Self-taught artist Rudy-Jan Faber renders beat-em-up beauties in his collection of prints.

Faber, based in the Netherlands, works in print and character illustration. The artist has a clear focus on figurative drawing, giving his characters depth with a simple change of angle and toning in color. The viewer can easily form the story for each piece. The retro-rendered Tattoo Lady’s mystery intrigues and delights. Faber's work is extremely engaging, however, the best part of the series is the strength of the women depicted. The attitude seeps out of the images, and is clearly conveyed to the viewer. It’d make even the softest romantic reconsider the value of a rose.

As stated on Rudy-Jan Faber's site, "My main focus in my work is giving my characters lots of personality." These fem fatales definitely have plenty of kick.
