While the royal baby is the focus of recent royal family advertisements, MasterCard decided to take a different approach and focus on the Duchess of Cambridge.
MasterCard commercials follow the same pattern of showing the prices of items being purchased, and the last one is always "priceless." This advertisement, however, does things a little differently than the standard MasterCard ads—and featuring the Royal Family this ad should be more special! Instead of listing purchased items, it lists titles Princess Kate goes by such as "Countess of Strathearn." The last one is "George’s Mum: Priceless." It congratulates Princess Kate on being a mom while still including the MasterCard brand and the recognizable "priceless."
MasterCard uses the new Royal mom to advertise to moms everywhere.
