Walnut Creek's retail hub will be adding a three-story complex featuring the area's first rooftop restaurant. To be located downtown in the Cadillac Corner area of Walnut Creek, the building will include a retail space on the ground floor and two floors dedicated to three restaurants.
Developed by Brian Hirahara, the retail space will be dedicated to clothing retailer Vineyard Vines with an additional ground level cafe. The second storey will be home to another eatery including a covered outdoor dining area. The top floor will have the rooftop restaurant and bar, which will be partly covered with skylights and walls that roll down.
Hirahara describes the Bay Area project as "a sort of 'urbanization' of Walnut Creek as it evolves from a suburban downtown into a more urban and dynamic retail and restaurant center for the area."
