Photographer Jam Sutton has put together an editorial of epic proportions for the latest issue of Rollacoaster Magazine.
The editorial borrows aesthetic influences from 17th century Italy to create a heroic narrative of love, loss and war. Themes of religion, human sacrifice, battle and bloodshed are thoroughly explored in this opulent visual story.
Sutton was assisted by digital technician Paolo Jones to create an otherworldly look for the editorial. Fashion editor Andrew Davis accessorized the male models with twig wreaths, bows and arrows and psychedelic fashions that stand out against the stone pillars. Hair stylist Liam Curran and makeup artist Lucy Bridge rounded out the creative team, pulling the look together with pale skin and slicked-back hair.
