Silver Lining Opticians Resurrect, Tweak Rodenstock Aviators

New York’s Silver Lining Opticians has teamed up with Opening Ceremony to remake a series of Rodenstock Aviators shades, which were first brought to the world in 1986.

Rodenstock released this frame in ophthalmic style without lenses in 1986 (ophthalmic glasses are for people with eye problems who need surgical or medical treatment).

For 2010 the frames of the Rodenstock Aviators remain unchanged, but Silver Lining Opticians and Opening Ceremony have added colorful new mirrored lenses which, as you can clearly see, make these glasses kick ass.
