The desert -- anywhere in the world -- is a stunning expanse of land on its own -- but with some rock installations thrown into the mix, it becomes even more visually striking. This particular rock installation is even more special in that it incorporates a ton of vibrant colors that contrast greatly with the otherwise brown sands and green shrubs.
Created by Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone, the rock installation can be found in Las Vegas, Nevada. It will be placed there for the next two years, giving fans plenty of time to check it out in person. Dubbed the ‘Seven Magic Mountains,' they are meant to evoke thoughts of more traditional meditative rock balancing. It was produced by the Art Production Fund, New York and the Nevada Museum of Art in Reno.
