UGO Architects' rock hostel is a brilliant design proposal for a mountainous hostel. The proposal for the project, entitled 'Barcelona Rock,' was created for the international competition 'bohemian hostel for backpackers.'
Although the exterior of the hostel is a perfect for adventurous climbers, the interior is equipped with all of the standard necessities to unwind in a new city: fifty rooms (all with windows), a swimming pool, spa, gym, cinema and pub. The interior is even equipped with a beginner rock climbing wall for those not feeling up to climbing the exterior or who are in need of a little practice.
The proposal for the rock hostel in Barcelona is an innovative design that introduces an element of the natural landscape into the urban one.
