'Tilt Shift' is a series of photos from Robert McLaughlin which feature large-scale seascapes or objects that are made to look miniature. For example, there is a stage with ballet dancers on it wherein the dancers look like little tiny dolls rather than the life-sized dancers that they are.
'Tilt Shift' plays with the perceptions of reality in such a way that the sailboats and buildings look like fake infrastructure that someone has built from a kit. Robert McLaughlin definitely plays with reality in an unusual but appealing way.
