Emoji-Inspired Safety Ads

These Road Safety Ads are Made Entirely Out of Emoji Characters

In honor of World Emoji Day, Ford Italia ran a series of road safety ads that were made entirely out of emjoi characters. Emojis have quickly become an easy way of expressing our ideas and these new ads manage to use the characters in an innovative and thought-provoking way.

The ads were created by the Italian creative agency Blue Hive Italy. The agency produced the ads as a way of sending an important message about road safety. Upon first glance, the ads appear to be colorful images of a dog running, a man with a cane and a child on a scooter. Upon further inspection, it becomes clear that each image is made up of a series of strategically placed emjois. The road safety ads remind drivers to watch out for pedestrians with the clever tagline "Don’t emoji and drive."
