Revenge of Revenge of Doh Requires Physical Interaction to Play

While Nintendo Wii and Xbox Kinect may have revolutionized the way people interacted with video games, the Revenge of Revenge of Doh (RoRoD) gives people the satisfaction of actually feeling the force of their interaction. Instead of moving only air, this game has people playing with a physical ball.

Designed by Jorge Nuno Coutinho, the Revenge of Revenge of Doh is inspired by the classic brick-eliminating Breakout game. Using the real ball to bounce against a projected screen to knock off bricks, the object of the game is to destroy more bricks than the computer. By combining physical and digital play, people get the best of both worlds.

The Revenge of Revenge of Doh was exhibited during the 9th edition of the Black & White film festival.
