Retail Innovation Council And dunnhumby Launch 'RIX'

The Retail Innovation Council (RIC) and dunnhumby launched a new insights service called RIX designed to deliver aggregated innovation intelligence to Europe’s leading retailers, featuring confidential, participant-level benchmarking and recommendations. The initiative will use dunnhumby’s RIX methodology, combining dunnhumby ventures’ retail innovation experience with the company’s strategic consulting and research capabilities to generate industry-wide findings.

RIX will provide each participating retailer with a personalised innovation ranking and strategy guidance, and the partners will develop a standardised scorecard to assess startup retail adoption readiness for RIC’s network and collaborators such as KPMG and Amazon Web Services. Offered initially to RIC members and dunnhumby’s partner network, the program aims to professionalise how senior retail leaders choose and scale technology by translating aggregated data into actionable adoption signals.
