Irma's Restaurant 1:1 is Only a Restaurant for One

To kick off the launch of its new single-person meals, Danish grocery chain Irma created 'Restaurant 1:1,' a restaurant for one. The "world's smallest restaurant" is only set up to seat a single diner at a time and was created to break the stigmas that exist around solo dining in public.

Due to its unique qualities, the Restaurant 1:1 pop-up only required one chef and one waiter to cater to a single patron at a time. Although alone for the intimate dining experience, visitors had the chance to converse with the limited staff on-site while enjoying their solo meal with wine and beer.

Hungry for the unique experience, people were quick to make a reservation at the Restaurant 1:1 restaurant pop-up, with all the available spots for dining filled in just 48 hours.
