Reno Contracting recently proved that there is an end in sight when it comes to cutting down on construction waste in the United States.
Between 2009 and 2010, the eco-conscious company cut down on over 60,000 tonnes of waste, which is enough to bury three football fields under 100 feet of trash. The program is a part of a government-run initiative to promote construction waste recycling -- something that accounts for 136 million tonnes of garbage each year.
