The Elgin Cafe is a restaurant that doubles as a relaxed daytime bistro and a hip evening bar. The architects created a clean space that is finished with a green color palette. The abundant use of green was in the hopes of creating an atmosphere that embraces the outdoors and creates a memorable aesthetic.
The design of the restaurant was very intentional. The restaurant features a large dining room, private dining spaces, a bar, and a wine cellar. The restaurant is quite divided which encourages the customers to roam the space. The restaurant incorporates local materials, such as the Udaipur green stone, and is accentuated with gold light fixtures and salmon-colored banquets.
