Exhibit Celebrates Jan Kaplicky, “Architect of the Future”

From July 1st to November 1st, 2009, the "Remember Jan Kaplicky - Architect of the Future" exhibit will be on display at the Design Museum in London.

Kaplicky, who passed away earlier this year, was the head of a conceptual architecture company, Future Systems, which has designed and put into production some of the most beautiful and innovative buildings throughout the world.

His style emanated a true vision and understanding of the future and he was never afraid to break barriers no matter how ridiculous an idea was.

Among buildings, Kaplicky also designed solar powered vehicles, electric cars, jewelery, bikinis and double-decker buses.

He will be missed.
