Relish is a relationship training app that shares unlimited, one-on-one text-based coaching with a qualified relationship coach, as well as quizzes, activities and readings to help couples strengthen their bond and become better at working through struggles. The app shares customized lesson plans on foundational topics like listening, communication and opening up, plus step-by-step guides to help couples navigate challenging conversations.
The creator of Relish, Lesley Eccles, who also created FanDuel, says: "There’s an opportunity for something where you’re not necessarily at a stage where you’re willing to shell out $4,000 on average for couples therapy, but you need something and you want something tailored to your particular needs."
With the app, users are able to identify and keep tabs on their strengths and weaknesses and even gamify parts of a relationship, such as shared chores, which can often be a source of strain and arguments.
