Red Loon Debuted Two Vegan Table Salt Alternatives

'Red Loon' is a new startup in the CPG seasoning sector founded in Birmingham by Raspal Kaur. The brand's initial line includes the 'Red Loon Seasoning' and 'Red Loon Spicirub' products. While the word "loon" in the brand's name comes from the Punjabi word for salt, these seasonings offer a much more diverse flavor range than traditional table salt.

The Red Loon Seasoning boasts a bold, diverse range of flavors suited for sprinkling upon many foods from soups to pizzas and even fish. This seasoning is spicy, but not too hot. While the Red Loon Seasoning is meant to be used as a tabletop flavoring tool, the brand's Spicirub is intended for use in the cooking stage. The Red Loon Spicirub can be added to a sautee, a marinate or used as a seasoning rub for cooking meats. Both of Red Loon's product offerings are certified vegan by 'The Vegetarian Society' in England.

On top of delivering flavorful seasonings, Red Loon is donating 1p, roughly equal to one cent in USD, per Red Loon product sold.
