Red Runway Fashion

Peter Jensen S/S 2009 Channels Jodie Foster

Bright red was the overpowering color at the Danish designer Peter Jensen’s S/S 2009 fashion show in London last year. Both the men's and women's collections sported bright red outfits from top to toe.

The entire collection was also a flashback of movie star Jodie Foster’s film costumes. Instead of offering press and fashion viewers a common press release about the collection, Jensen gave his guests a script sequence between Hannibal Lecter and Clarice Starling.

Jensen covers all of Foster's movies, from 'Freaky Friday' to 'Taxi Driver,' showing that he knows just about everything you could possibly know about the actress.

Where that leaves the men in this collection, I don’t know. I do love the mid-length red coat with the black collar featured on the first runway image above.
