Stage-Converting Buses

The Red Bull Tour Bus Converts into a Fully Functional Concert Stage

If you love free concerts and fun indie music, check out the Red Bull tour bus traveling across Canada this weekend offering great music and awesome bands -- entirely free.

Energy drink company Red Bull has creatively converted an old-school 1960 General Motors transit bus into The Red Bull tour bus concert stage. How it works is Red Bull altered the transit bus body to be able to mechanically lift half of the side, creating an appropriate staging area. It also comes with several highly capable generators and a super loud sound system. The Red Bull mobile tour bus has traveled across Canada with some of the most popular bands, including the New Pornographers, the Sheepdogs and Matt Mays, to perform free outdoor shows. This weekend on June 2nd, 2013, in Toronto at Sugar Beach, Tokyo Police Club will be taking the stage at 3PM. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend putting some sunglasses on and checking them out.
